Growing Youth Rugby in Brooklyn
The club is excited to continue developing our youth rugby teams in 2026 after a great introductory year.

MINI RUGBY
(Co-Ed Under 10 Youth Teams – Flag Rugby)
This is a parent led youth rugby program that aims to teach kids core rugby skills and provide a welcoming environment for kids to have fun and make friends.
Sessions are around an hour with 30 mins of skills development and 30 mins of games. Kids under 10 are welcome, and kids as young as 4 can join depending on the team. Contact us to learn more about age eligibility.

YOUTH RUGBY
(Under 14 Team – Middle & High School Rugby)
A more advanced program that aims to help kids between 11-14 learn safe and effective contact skills so they can make smart tackles and clean rucks. We emphasize proper technique in the contact area so kids can learn confidence and build towards full contact games.
Sessions are about one hour with 30 mins of skill development and 30 mins of flag gameplay emphasizing preparation for live contact matches.

TEAMS
The program is broken into neighborhood-based teams, with more teams being added as we expand to new neighborhoods. If you are interested in a specific team or have any questions about new teams being formed, get in touch.
